Summer in Sliezsky dom lies mainly in the spirit of trekking, especially popular is the output of the above-mentioned Gerlach.
Location
Mountain hotel Sliezsky dom *** is the highest situated mountain hotel in Slovakia. It lies at the foot of Velicka valley, a few meters from the lake and Velické Velické waterfall. Fans of the High Tatras knows that it was from this place is a mountain guide hits the popular Gerlach, who is the highest peak in Slovakia. Constructed of 1670 mN / m Sliezsky house creates a unique place for comfort, relaxation and tourism.
Accommodation
After complete renovation Mountain hotel Sliezsky dom *** offers accommodation in 36 rooms and 8 suites, which are based on the original layout of the historic building. All rooms are equipped with large comfortable bed, separate bathroom with bath or shower, minibar, high speed internet, LCD TV or telephone. One room is fully equipped for comfort and convenience of disabled guests. For families with children is available to family room with children's corner or duplex apartments with a capacity of 5-6 beds.
Total capacity is 108 beds, including 16 additional beds. All accommodations are nonsmoking. The hotel is designed as a barrier.
Dining
Mountain hotel Sliezsky dom *** has three dining sections:
1) Hotel restaurant with 60 seats. Restaurant serves breakfast and the administration that are served buffet or a la carte / with lower occupancy hotel /. During the day working at a restaurant a la carte method, especially for guests. Dinners are issued buffet / corporate events / or a la carte.
The hotel restaurant is bound traffic day and night bar with a capacity of 15 persons.
2) Self-service restaurant with 40 seats is frequented mainly by tourists during the day.
Hotel and restaurant self-service restaurant are separated by a mobile sound-acoustic wall, ie proceedings in the case of larger events or weddings can get space for about 100 people.
3) Club of Mountain Guides - a separate building close to 5 m from the hotel has a capacity of 40 seats. KHV is a typical alpine bar with its own bar facilities, social space and a fireplace.
In the summer, eventually. time in good weather, guests can enjoy the terrace overlooking the Poprad basin with a capacity of 200 seats.

Parking and access to the Hotel
Sliezsky Dom **** is accessible by 7 km long asphalt road from Tatranska Polianka. As the hotel is in the highest degree of natural protection, access to motor vehicles and also parking is limited. In the winter months the exports to hotel are provided by the hotel, on scooters or ratraks. Parking is possible at a free parking place at the ramp in Tatranska Polianka.
In the summer, clients can park in Tatranska Polianka and use the services of the hotel for export to the hotel, or have the opportunity to go to the hotel by own car and use the parking place at the hotel - for fee.
